KUKA robots just got eyes: Inbolt integration is here

For decades, KUKA robots have been a symbol of strength and precision on factory floors around the world. But like every robot, their potential has always been limited by one thing: vision.
That changes today.
We’re thrilled to announce that Inbolt is now officially integrated with KUKA robots, unlocking intelligent 3D vision-guidance and real-time tracking for one of the world’s most trusted robot platforms.

Why this matters for manufacturers

Factories move fast. Markets change even faster. To stay competitive, manufacturers need automation that is not only powerful, but adaptable.

With Inbolt, KUKA robots can now:

  • See in 3D and adapt in real time

  • Boost accuracy in applications like bin picking, pick & place, de-racking, dispensing, and fastening

  • Upgrade easily, whether retrofitting existing stations or building new ones

  • Deploy faster thanks to a plug-and-play setup that delivers results from day one

Instead of long engineering projects and rigid programming, Inbolt helps your KUKA robots think and react, the way true intelligent automation should.

Built for your KUKA systems

This integration is compatible with:

  • Controllers: KR C4 or KR C5

  • Software: KSS 8.2, 8.3, 8.5, 8.6, or 8.7

  • Required option: Ethernet KRL Interface (EKI)

Our first release supports stationary/static use cases, with moving line applications on the way soon.

At Inbolt, we believe every robot should have vision. Our integration with KUKA brings that future closer. By combining Inbolt’s 3D vision and real-time tracking with KUKA’s advanced robots, manufacturers can unlock automation that is faster to deploy, easier to scale, and smarter from day one.
